So a few years ago Sunshine Factory came into my life by way of a radio interview/performance on my radio show, My Side of The City on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles. Somewhere that night during their performance I made up my mind to start a record label.
After the show was over we walked over to Fat Burger and grabbed some burgers. We laughed a lot, quite a lot, especially at Tony for referring to himself as Tony… “Tony the Tiger” during the interview. I needed to say something. Fat Burger closed and we hung around the parking saying our goodbyes and giving our thanks. Then I asked them if they wanted to do a 7” together. They said yes and I’ve never looked back.
This song reminds me of all the good memories and the hard work, not to mention my good fortune to have met such a lovely group of individuals.

This summer saw the release of the Chloroform Days Landings 7.” Since then, things have been a bit quiet but it’s shaping up to be a big and busy year! Chloroform Days is busy putting the finishing touches on his new EP. In the meantime the Bear has awoken to give us a sweet desktop version of one of my old favorite Chloroform Days songs.
