Unplugged & Remixed, the latest EP from Sunshine Factory is finally here! We here at Culdesac Kids headquarters are all super excited. As a little gift, we are offering the entire 5 track EP as a free download for one week. After the EP will only be available as a tour EP, which you can pick up at any of the bands live shows. Sunshine Factory “Almost Live” sees a release
Some months ago we posted some footage of a Sunshine Factory live rehearsal (almost live) on the site. Well it turns out that a few of those recordings from said session will see an official release! On the heels of the bands debut 7”, the Sunshine crew are set to release an EP of sorts. Sunshine Factory “Unplugged & Remixed” will feature 5 songs never before released.
Unplugged features two songs recorded on Kpfks legendary grand piano donated to the station in the 60’s by the Beach Boys. Track three features a remix from up coming Culdesac Kids artist, Chlorofrom Days - giving Lower Away the refix treatment. The last two bonus songs on the EP come via Sunshine Factorys “Almost Live” session. The “Almost Live” session was originally just an excuse for the band to record some scratch recordings of some new songs, and to test out the sound capabilities of the Crawford Family Forum - which would later play host to the bands record release party.
